Pinghu LNG Receiving Terminal, Zhejiang, China
Jiaxing LNG peak shaving terminal will play a significant role to mitigate pollution level in Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Huzhou region.
Jiaxing Gas and Hangzhou Gas, two biggest city gas company in Zhejiang province, planned to build LNG peak shaving terminal at Dushan Harbor Area, Pinghu.
The design capability is 1 million tons per annum (MTPA), with regasification capacity of 0.6 MTPA and LNG truck export capacity of 0.4 MTPA. The plant area is consisted of 2 full-containment LNG storage tanks, each of which has effective volume of 100,000 m3, re-gasification facilities, BOG compressor, utilities, and office buildings etc.
At early stage, HalcrowSea was assigned to technically evaluate the proposed LNG sites (Taizhou and Jiaxing region), carried out master planning and development strategy for the project. Before EPC stage, HalcrowSea was assigned to prepare EPC tender documents including evaluation for the technical bidding documents.
It will significantly mitigate pollution levels and enhance supply security across the Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou metropolitan region while supporting seasonal peak-shaving demands.
