FSRU Gasport, Indonesia

The demand for electricity in Indonesia has grown quickly in the last decade. Jawa 1 project aims to dramatically expand power generation and transmission capacity.

PLN, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara, the state-owned electricity company is undertaking the Independent Power Producer(IPP) mode of a gas fired combined-cycle power plant in Cilamaya, West Java, Indonesia. The project, on the build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis, involves the construction of a 1,760MW gas fired combined-cycle power plant, a 170,000m3 floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), gas loading and unloading facilities, transformers and generators, and the laying of 52km, 500kV transmission line.

Based on the client requirement, site visit & selection, FSRU gas terminal site selection, sub-sea pipeline route selection, preliminary gas terminal concept design, technical bidding documents have been completed to ensure proper implementation plan and lower gas supply price.
