Hua'an LNG Peaking Shaving Terminal, Shenzhen, China

The project will solve gas peak shaving challenges and improve the LNG supply ability in surrounding cities.

Shenzhen Hua'an Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Peak Shaving Terminal Project is located at Xiadong village, Kuichong Town, Shenzhen, P.R.China and will receive LNG from ocean-going LNG carriers on a 24 hours/day basis. LNG carriers will be designed  with capacitie ranging from 10,000 cubic meters to 90,000 cubic meters.

The terminal consists of an LNG jetty, an 80,000 cubic meter full containment LNG tank, 5 LNG truck loading bays, boil-off gas compressors, and high pressure gas send-out facilities with a capacity of 240,000 cubic meter per hour. Based on the client’s requirement, the preliminary and detailed design including HAZOP/SIL etc would be independently evaluated and reviewed to ensure project design and delivery quality.

The project will solve gas peak shaving challenges and improve the LNG supply ability in surrounding cities. As a clean and highly efficient fuel LNG will largely benefit environment protection reducing CO2 emission compared with coal. It is expected that the calling of first LNG carrier will be come in the Spring of 2017.
